Internal Pressures

Are you experiencing internal pressures and all the accompanying ramifications? Internal pressures of fear, uncertainty, not knowing how to deal with loss, temptations to escape in ways that will only harm you, your body, and your relationships?

If your a visual person, consider our majestic mountains as an illustration. The fact is that they exist because of the internal pressures of the earth that pushed them into existence. One author said, “”An island in the sea may be the top of a great mountain.” As they erupted from the surface of the earth’s crust, and into existence for all the world to see, they were shouting the sheer Majesty and glory of God!

MLM wants all to experience an “eruption.” Experience the power, the majesty, the glory, and the freedom that is found when our internal pressures are released…to Him. Because there is beauty beneath the crust, and it’s aching to be released.

We all have internal pressures that remain dormant within our inmost being, and without any way of escape they will continue to boil. (But) God is in the business of releasing us from internal pressures by exposing why we think the way we do; why we do the things we don’t want to do. and why there never seems to be any answers. At the end of the day – why we cannot find freedom. Freedom is experiencing mountain peaks without the fear of being exposed.

The whole theme of this letter (internal pressures) originated in a message I wrote in 2009 that I recently came across. I titled it, “Transforming In To The 21st Century.” The following are excerpts, beginning with MLM’s Mission statement and Vision Statement: “Making known the path to freedom, and calling forth the deeper nature of God, where He sanctifies and transforms.” “A regional training center to raise up the body of Christ to be equipped to bring healing and wholeness to the broken and bound. Impacting all generations for Christ.”

“He is raising up 21st Century mountains to transform us for Kingdom work. A Kingdom work that America has never known. A level of extreme that no generation has ever seen. We will begin to see the demise of things of comfort, and He is wanting us to become the clay in His hands – so that we will be ready to be formed in to whatever will be needed to create community. You are to rise to the surface – through the crust of the earth. Into a new dimension. To become strong, and an evident example of His majesty and strength. Overcoming the pressures in order to display His glory.”

That word from 2009 is totally relevant for today. The things that we found comfort in are probably not readily available as before. The community that we have known is hidden. So what is the answer? The external is right before our eyes. The internal is striving to find fissures as a way of escape in order to display the glory of God.

This is where we, as prayer counselors of inner healing, come in to play. As my mission statement says, “Making known the path to freedom, and calling forth the deeper nature of God.” If pressures are building up, but no release (or fear of release), there is a good reason for it – but you probably don’t know what it is. In a session, with the Word of God, the power of Holy Spirit, and Jesus as the Captain of your salvation, we go deep below the surface to find the root to the bondage.

If your asking why it’s necessary to bring all that “stuff” to the surface, that’s a good question! Because – there is an internal fight going on, and something has to give. Like the mountains: 2 plates are forced in to one another and something has to give. So, lets aim at being released, coming in to the light, and experience freedom. Jesus knows the turmoil inside. He will show you what exists in there that keeps you bound. Together, we find the root causes keeping you dormant.

As my vision statement says: “The broken and bound will find healing and wholeness.”

There has been a surfacing of 21st century mountains. They were once overcome with darkness while trying to manage the overwhelming pressures. But with inner healing they are now finding joy, and purpose… above the surface. There’s room for many mountains to surface! Call me. Lets talk about it.
